Stablecoins pilot demo

Visa Direct announced a breakthrough pilot allowing businesses and marketplaces to send payouts directly to recipients’ stablecoin wallets — meaning creators, freelancers and gig-workers can receive USD-backed stablecoins (such as USDC) instead of a traditional bank transfer or card payout.

This POC explored two use-case prototypes demonstrating faster access to cross-border funds in markets facing limited banking infrastructure or currency volatility.

My work also involved end-to-end creation of a marketing-style demo video, including visual storyboarding and scripting.

As the Content Designer on this project, my objective was to design clear, user-centered messaging, microcopy and content flows across two payout experiences.

My role involved:

  • Performing a landscape and competitive audit to understand how fintech products explain crypto transactions and uncover terminology, interaction patterns, and user-facing messaging strategies.

  • Establishing consistent terminology (e.g., “wallet connection”, “cash-out amount”, “stablecoin payout”) across teams and screens.

  • Collaborating with UX designers, product, dev and accessibility to write content aligned with technical constraints and compliance requirements.
